Uniform Coordinators 2009-10

Jennifer Sutton and Mary Hudson will be our uniform coordinators for 2009-2010. Keeping up with the uniform duties is a big job and help is appreciated. Their duties include all the following (except for color guard and field commander uniforms):

• The initial issue and fitting of uniforms (at band camp);
• Keeping records of student uniform issues;
• (Ongoing) Student training in CARE and HANDLING of their uniforms and bags;
• Holding students accountable for lack of care of uniforms;
• Issue of uniforms for each event as required;
• Ensuring hat plumes are available for each event as required;
• Ensuring berets are available for each event as required;
• Ensuring student rain panchos are available as needed;
• Ensuring bow ties are available at each event as needed;
• Ensuring spares (shirts/ties/shoes/hats/uniforms) are available as needed;
• Receiving, storing and accounting of uniform after each event;
• Coordinating with the Pit/Equipment crew and/or chaperones for carrying uniforms on the trailer or buses as required;
• Maintenance of uniforms, including repairs, uniform bag condition and coordinating with the cleaners as needed;

If you would like to volunteer to help with the uniforms, please contact them at each event. Help is needed and appreciated.
